About Maritime Printing & Rochaprint Solutions
Maritime Printing Company (“Maritime”) was formed in 1974 to provide the shipping industry with pre-printed maritime forms which proved a great success, with turnover rapidly increasing.
The business moved into the Pool of London in 1985 and in that year acquired New Goswell Printing Co Limited (part of Initial Plc). This provided extra capacity and allowed the business to rapidly expand. Mercantile Lithographic Co Ltd, which was also started by Maritime’s owner in 1974, was integrated into Maritime. To add multi-colour capabilities, AC Printers was acquired in 1999. This provided Maritime with an increased and diversified customer base along with a greater fixed asset base and new markets.
Due to its location in the Pool of London, it has been well placed to serve the shipping industry. With its proud history in this sector, it is still a vibrant part of the business today, being one of the market leaders in this highly prized niche sector. Maritime benefits by owning the copyright on a range of niche products, including forms, log books, certificates and various other documents specific to the shipping industry.
These are used by shipping and transport companies internationally.
Maritime, however, has moved to encompass a broader service offering to include general commercial printing. Its main market is now the business/financial and public sector communities of London. It has a vast portfolio of blue chip clients with a core of loyal customers who have been built up over the years.
The business has always been identified as synonymous with quality and professionalism.
Maritime has consistently strived to obtain the best prices from its suppliers, enabling them to pass savings onto their clients. As well as offering quick turnaround times, thereby providing excellent value and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Maritime has a Quality System in place, which is monitor by an externally trained on-site Quality Systems Auditor.
Maritime has also been accredited to Gold Level by Exor Management Services illustrating its high standards as a supplier to the Public Sector.
